January 04, 2009 - Happy New Year! With the inclusion of the gym into our training we will be able to progress so much faster. The gym training is every Saturday at 10am. We have alot of exciting things in the works for parkour in the UAE this year. Keep a close eye on the site for details to come! December 19, 2008 - Alas, we say goodbye to one of our top traceurs and a great friend, peter who is off to better days in New Zealand. I speak for all of us and say you'll be sorely missed Pete. December 15, 2008 - Time for an update! Not much going on right now. Urban Freeflow are sending a team to the UAE for a couple of weeks starting from the 18th. Stay tuned for more details. We managed to find a gym to practice in until we find our own. Contact any of us for details. So far sessions are held every Saturday morning. Check out the full "Off the wall" Story in the media section November 06, 2008 - The Adrenaline Sports Live Show in Abu Dhabi will be hosting a Parkour/Freerunning team. If you are interested get yourself to ADNEC in Abu Dhabi on the 13th,14th or 15th of November. Tickets are 100 Dirhams each. There will also be a huge amount of different adrenaline sports on show. Definitely worth the cash. November 03, 2008 - News from the Urban Freeflow website "Caught In The Middle Urban Freeflow will be sharing centre stage with a host of names from the bboy, bmx, skate and graffiti world when we send over members from our performance team to tour in the United Arab Emirates. The icing on the cake will come in the form of a stop off in Dubai, where we'll be putting on a series of high impact displays.." October 10, 2008 - Thanks to all of you who participated in the run today. We are really getting bigger! It surprised me to see the amount of new faces wanting to get into parkour. We had a huge turnout for the UAE compared to all our last meets. Anyone else wanting to get into parkour is more than welcome to join us. Peter now organises meetings on days other than friday. So if you can't make it to one on friday, but you still want to do it, give him a call. His number is on our contact page. -Steve September 24, 2008 - There are currently regular parkour sessions being held opposite the baynuna tower on the corniche. Every day from 4pm until 7pm. Contact Steve if you would like to participate. September 04, 2008 - We are currently working with The Swatch Group to create a live show for the launch of their new "Chronoplastic" watch line. We have 3 more slots available to any traceurs who think they have what it takes to perform in front of a live audience. Contact Steve with a video showreel of your abilities if you'd like to apply. Check the forums for prerequisites and details. September 02, 2008 - We were recently contacted by the Khaleej Times newspaper. We will be working on an article with them. Stay tuned for its release date. August 23, 2008 - Wow, we have gotten so much publicity from the Gulf Pulse program that we recently did for Zee Tv. The scene really looks to be picking up! My apologies for not updating the website for a while, but we have been incredibly busy. My thanks goes out to everyone at Zee Tv, especially Gautam for spreading the word about the UAE Parkour scene. We now have a set schedule for sessions. Every friday at 5pm. If anyone is interested, give us a call and we'll give you directions. June 27, 2008 - Arjun from the PARKOUR ABU DHABI website is willing to give free parkour lessons and training sessions to anyone who wants them. June 20, 2008 - OK so the get together idea didnt go so well.. However We've had alot of interest from the local traceurs wanting to learn so we will be going out on regular runs from now on!!
