Techniques & Training
It is impossible to summarise all the movements in parkour into a few simple words. Proper technique is key to preventing injuries, but even then injuries can occur. Beginner Traceurs and Freerunners are advised to start small and work hard on the fundamentals of the movements. if at all possible, find someone experienced to train with.
Coaches and Trainers will definitely help you learn faster and train safer. Technique and proper conditioning is imperative to prevent injuries. Remember, experience comes with time and lots of practice, so don't rush it.

An inspirational and eye-opening article about parkour. A must read for any person who is serious about taking up parkour.
A huge and very helpful repository of parkour and freerunning movements at Urban Freeflow.
There is no better training, fitness and injury information than the "In at the deep end" section of Urban Freeflow. So rather than duplicating information, read it straight from the horse's mouth.
For the moment, unless someone comes forward and wants to take charge of the training and tech sections, they will remain very limited on this site. However thanks to the great work at urban Freeflow, I have something to link to for you guys to read!
